A Night of Envisioning L.A.'s Clean Energy Future
When: Saturday, June 30 at 5 PM
Where:
The home of Nick Nagy
9666 Lemona Avenue
North Hills (SFV), CA 91343
What:
We believe in a future where families don’t have to suffer oil drilling in their neighborhoods, where workers don’t have to sacrifice their bodies just to make a living, and where good, responsible decision-making isn’t stymied by corporate donations.
Spend an evening with our Los Angeles organizers to learn about the work that supporters like you make possible.
We’ll present a research-driven plan for a 100% clean energy future in Los Angeles, and you’ll hear first-hand the stories of the people who are fighting for that vision in their own communities every day. Then we’ll work together to build our collective story for clean energy that we can hold up to our elected officials.
Directions:
Nick's home is close to the Van Nuys exit of the 405, and the neighborhood has ample street parking. Public transportation can be tricky in this area, so let us know if you need other options and we'll see what's possible.
