Beaver County Commissioners: Reschedule the Shell Plant Town Hall!

In light of the disastrous East Palestine train derailment in February and emissions violations at the Shell cracker plant, Beaver County residents have raised concerns about the local government’s emergency response plans and notification procedures.

Community members worked hard to organize a Town Hall event on August 15, which should have been a space for residents to raise questions and concerns directly and openly with county leadership.

But just one week before the event, Beaver County Commissioners have backed out of attending.

This is unacceptable. We deserve leaders who are not so afraid of Shell that they turn their backs on our communities.

Send a message to Beaver County Commissioners: Reschedule the Town Hall and commit to attending!
