Food & Water Watch NJ Organizing Fellowship

Food & Water Watch’s New Jersey Organizing Fellowship is a unique opportunity to learn organizing, create positive change in your community, and get paid while working from home. Apply now- no experience necessary!

Climate change threatens our communities and our future. The only way forward is to educate and organize communities, building a people powered movement to win the future we deserve.

Food & Water Watch is working to pass 100% renewable energy laws in Cherry Hill, Long Branch, North Brunswick, Teaneck, and Woodbridge. To do this, we’re circulating a digital petition to qualify the policy for a vote in each of these five towns, using direct democracy to win the climate solutions we need!

Organizing Fellows will:
  • Get paid $300 once they’ve collected 30 valid electronic petition signatures, and $10 for every additional valid signature after that
  • Have flexible hours. Work from home, around your existing schedule
  • Have access to a weekly training series to learn organizing skills

Please answer the following questions to complete your application:

--------------

Why are you interested in participating in the fellowship? (be brief- just a sentence or two is fine)

Do you have relationships if any of our five target towns (Cherry Hill, Long Branch, North Brunswick, Teaneck, and Woodbridge)?
