Governor Cuomo and the state Department of Health (DOH) recently came out with proposed new regulations for some very bad chemicals (PFOA and PFOS) that have ended up in New Yorkers' drinking water.
These regulations are a step in the right direction, but they're still not strong enough, considering that these chemicals can cause serious health problems and they're showing up in the drinking water of some New York communities.
Public comments on these proposed regulations are being accepted until Monday, September 23.
Fill out the form below to tell Governor Cuomo and the Department of Health you want the strongest possible regulations for these chemicals, based on the most recent science.
