New York City Bus to People vs. Fossil Fuels Action

When: Wednesday, October 13, at 10:00 a.m.
Note: Bus returns to NYC Thursday evening; riders will be in D.C. overnight.

Where: Bus leaves from 34th St. and 8th Ave., New York, NY
We'll gather outside the Tick Tock Diner on the northwest corner.

What: New York City bus to the People vs. Fossil Fuels action in Washington, D.C., a week of peaceful civil disobedience to demand that President Biden end the era of fossil fuels. We'll be traveling down Wednesday, participating in the mandatory training that evening, participating in the Thursday morning action, and then heading back to New York Thursday evening.

Thousands of us will come to D.C. to put our bodies on the line and demand that President Biden stop approving fossil fuel projects and declare a climate emergency right now, ahead of the United Nations climate summit in November.

We will take action to highlight the damage done by fossil fuels, the climate impacts we are already facing, and the need for real solutions rooted in justice. Please join us.
