New York needs to move off fossil fuels as fast as possible. But fracked gas power plant proposals are popping up all over the state, including one in the town of Newburgh on the Hudson River.

The Danskammer would be a massive 550 MW fracked gas plant posing huge risks to the air and water of the local community -- and worsening our climate crisis by burning dirty fossil fuels around the clock.

Sign below to tell Kathy Hochul and the Public Service Commission to reject the dirty Danskammer plant and all other fracked gas infrastructure.

We need to move OFF fossil fuels to fight the climate crisis, not deepen our reliance on fracked gas.

Your Message
Dear Governor Hochul and Public Service Commission,

It's time to get serious about moving New York off fossil fuels. That starts with rejecting any and all fossil fuel projects before you. Only then can New York achieve a robust renewable economy and thousands of new green jobs for unionized workers. I urge you to stop the Danskammer fracked gas power plant and to make a firm commitment to move New York to 100% renewable energy.

Sincerely,
