The Delaware River Basin Commission (DRBC) is responsible for protecting the Delaware River Basin, a source of drinking water for millions of people in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware.
Last year, the DRBC established a permanent ban on fracking in the region, but failed to halt the disposal of fracking waste in the watershed or the withdrawal of water from the Basin for use in fracking elsewhere.
The DRBC, made up of the Biden administration and governors of the region's four states, is meeting on December 7, and proposed regulations regarding fracking activities are on the agenda.
Send an urgent message: Tell your governor and the Biden administration we need a COMPLETE fracking ban: No importing any fracking waste or wastewater into the Basin and no withdrawing water for fracking done elsewhere.
