Tell Pres. Biden: Oppose Carbon Capture Scams

Big Energy and Big Ag are polluting our water, destroying our climate, and harming vulnerable communities—and carbon capture and storage (CCS) schemes will only make things worse.

Multi-billion dollar, Wall Street-backed corporations are pushing carbon capture and storage to appear as if they are addressing the climate crisis, while continuing with business as usual.

Carbon capture is incredibly expensive, ineffective and can actually increase pollution from fossil fuels. Billions of our tax dollars have been poured into CCS demo-projects and research that have repeatedly shown unsound, lackluster results.

We must put the livelihoods and well-being of everyday Americans before the profits of massive corporations by investing in legitimate solutions to our climate and energy crises.
