Webinar: Greenwashing and Factory Farm Biogas in Delaware
Greenwashing: it's happening in Sussex County.
The company Bioenergy Devco is proposing a massive factory farm biogas scheme on the site of a failed chicken waste composting facility. County officials and the company tried to skirt proper public engagement at the end of last year. Why? They know this project is a public health and environmental disaster for residents. To feed the massive digesters at the industrial facility, the company Perdue has also promised to supply chicken waste for at least the next 20 years.
Join us for a webinar to share the truth and next steps on stopping this greenwashed factory farm biogas scheme in Sussex County.
We’ll hear from local and regional leaders fighting for a healthy, safe and just Delaware - without the factory farm industry's pollution.
