Fight for Clean Water. Donate to Food & Water Watch.
My name is Joe Miller and I’m attempting to establish the unsupported fastest known time on the 230 mile Ozark Trail to support Food & Water Watch.
As I plan my run along the trail, I am reminded of the natural resources that need to be protected. Equipped with a water filter and a backpack of supplies, I will rely on the creeks, streams, and rivers of the area for my survival. I know first hand that we cannot take clean water for granted.
That is why I have chosen to raise awareness and funds for Food & Water Watch. This organization works tirelessly to protect our water from pollution and ensure that everyone has access to clean, safe drinking water.
During the pandemic, many households have lost access to water service because high water rates are making water bills unaffordable. Utility and water shutoffs are immoral and unsafe. Everyone deserves access to clean water in order to keep ourselves, our families and our communities safe.
If you can give, I am asking for you to support my ultra-marathon and donate to support my run for clean water for all!
Food & Water Watch doesn’t take corporate money. That independence means they can take bold action to protect our food, water and climate. Their fights and victories are powered by the generous donations of people like you. Together, we fight like we live here.
